Before we were to move to our new place, my wife created an apartment move in checklist, a list of things we were going to need in our new home. As I was expecting, she missed several home essentials in her first apartment checklist. You cannot remember everything at that time. It’s true. That’s why I was least interested in a detailed new apartment checklist. Just keep it small. I was interested in compiling an apartment essentials checklist containing items to address our most essential needs.
We both lead a simple life. We have limited needs and fewer desires. Still, when we moved there, one question was surfaced in our minds more than once – how could we miss something that basic? We transformed that empty property into a modern home over a span of four months.
Today I will create a checklist of kitchen and bedroom essentials only.

It is a multifunctional bedding item that goes on the top of the mattress. Apart from providing extra comfort, it also serves the purpose of a protective layer for the mattress.

Buy a comfortable one. There are firm pillows. There are fluffy pillows. Pillows are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes. There is no such pillow that is ideal for everyone.
This bedding item is a liquid resistant protector for pillows. An ideal pillow protector is waterproof, stain resistant and anti-allergic.
This piece of bedding used as the topmost layer of the pillow provides protection from stains and dust mites. The pillow case is also used as a decorative covering.
Find one that feels great and lasts longer. Cotton sheets are soft, comfortable and affordable as well.
Blanket is a single-layered piece of cloth that keeps the body warm. A quilt is a multilayered bedding item for cold days. A quilt usually has three layers of fiber. A comforter is just like a quilt. The only difference is fabric, patterns and stuffing.
